Sol 03:25
In the beginning, our lives have thrived We used to dance in the puddles The rain has never drowned us yet Though our time has passed by All our friends that we used to know Seemed colder and distant Our smiles felt non-existent When I see my own reflection And a stranger's what I find Through my eyes, I can't help but cry So I said See the sun, watch it go Turn away from all of your sorrows Catch goodbyes from the stars in the sky As wishes cried the tears have not dried All our skies have greyed All our leaves have fallen away Though everything has changed Our Sol will shine the same We've been fighting, to stay awake, but these days The world keeps throwing us under It's hard to even stand up straight Now the fog creeps much closer On our own lives we used to love Now tastes bitter and soulless With our spirits all broken I gazed at the river below me Wishing I could disappear With no fear, I spread my arms wide Yet I see the life around me With the trees all by my side They stand by, with the sky so bright So I said See the sun, watch it go Turn away from all of your sorrows Catch goodbyes from the stars in the sky As wishes cried the tears have not dried All our skies have greyed All our leaves have fallen away Though everything has changed Our Sol will shine the same

The white winter Covers the field Where we used to be Free from all the weight of the world Now it's all Covered in snow Weighed down by all the frowns We can see from our homes The world's been swirling Up and down and around No breaks in-between on the Carousel we're riding And everyone's been spinning out of control Wishing it would all go I close my eyes and dream That the world isn't as bad as it seems How I wish we'd soon be unconfined Through the passing storm, with our fears all behind Though there's not much we can do There's our hope we will grasp on to And soon there will be golden rays And we'll fly away Now the light spring Flowers the field Which reminds me Of what it's like back when When the colors Were so vivid Full of life and Not washed out on living And the world's been swirling Up and down and around No time to be healing When we're focused on surviving And everyone's has been on unstable ground With fear that we would all drown I close my eyes and dream That the world isn't as bad as it seems How I wish we'd soon be unconfined Through the passing storm, with our fears all behind Though there's not much we can do There's our hope we will grasp on to And soon there will be golden rays And we'll fly away Soon bad things will fade With all the hope that we made

Meadows 02:34
Here we go again Standing here alone under the rain Trying to comprehend the pain So you go online To see another fire Your doomsday burns brighter With a one, two, three Step away from reality Into a place where we can find ourselves so free Why live our lives, when we can be trapped in our minds There's no reason to go back and even try Let's cry so loud While no one can hear you shout In the Meadows where your fears are all allowed It's time to go to sleep Into the meadows where you can finally breathe Then you walk back Back into this dull, uninspiring world Falling apart as it uncurls So you say goodbye Giving in to your desires You step into the fire With a one, two, three Step away from reality Into a place where we can find ourselves so free Why live our lives, when we can be trapped in our minds There's no reason to go back and even try Let's cry so loud While no one can hear you shout In the Meadows where your fears are all allowed It's time to go to sleep Into the meadows where you can finally breathe With no one by your side You take, one, last dive

Lying down on the grass Watching starry nights and wonderful lights "So tell me, what do you see" "I see insignificant little beings" "They look so nice" "Look even closer, what can you find" "I can find myself within each of those lights" "Once shining all so bright" "Now fizzling out with no signs of life" But a star can only shine so bright A bird can only fly so high You can try to reach the sun In the end you'll burn out You're drowning underwater yet you don't want to swim back up Your head's in the clouds out of fear Body's getting frail with no time to rest You can't live with your imperfections, you wish you were someone else Now wake up from your dream Staring at your phone with messages unseen Do you remember the words you've said And the actions that have left you filled with dread? They're eating you up Reading your journal, pen in hand Shading out the aspirations you once had "I'll never make it, not at all For the bridges I've burned has made me fall" The raindrops keep falling On your tear-stained weary soul Your whirlwind spins fast and out of control And all you can do is observe The damage that's been done You're drowning underwater yet you don't want to swim back up Your head's in the clouds out of fear Body's getting frail with no time to rest You can't live with your imperfections You've been running from your truths and embracing your lies When will you take off your disguise Nothing's on fire but you're burning inside You can't attempt to open your eyes to the truth that resides With no one to hold you by your side You go back to hiding in your mind You find your life and the memories inside And they tell you Count from 1, 2, 3 And take a breath with me Don't look back at your regrets Don't listen to the failures that are in your head Push away all those fears For this moment, and this second, you're here It's not your fault, it's not your fault You can't shine as bright You will see the sun in time You wish the stars another goodnight

about

My first ever EP release! My main goal with my music is to take inspiration from j-rock and j-pop progressions, melodic lines, themes, and more.

This EP revolves around the idea of trying to face and accept reality as-is, not escaping from it, even if life itself has changed and the urge to flee from everything becomes much stronger.
